1921 or Ayirathi Thollayirathi Irupathi Onnu is a 1988 Malayalam film directed by I. V. Sasi[1], written by T. Damodaran, and starring Mammootty, Madhu, Parvathy, Seema, and Urvasi.[2] The film won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value of that year.[3]

The movie deals with the Malabar rebellion, more popularily known as the Mappila Lahala. Mammootty plays the role of Kadhir, a leader of the rioters.
The soundtrack of the film was composed by Shyam. The lyrics were adapted from traditional malayalam poems by Moyinkutty Vaidyar etc. India's national song Vande Mataram is also featured in the movie with vocals by K. S. Chithra.
